  4. Supply Chain Inclusion and Diversity

We seek to build a supply chain that reflects the diversity of the communities in which we operate

Our supply chain inclusion and diversity strategy works to build awareness, both internally and externally, of the benefits of a more inclusive and diverse supply chain.

We use the term diversity to acknowledge underrepresented people applicable to our supply chain, including Indigenous and other Land-Connected Peoples, women, veterans, people with disabilities, LGBTQ+ and other minorities.

We have a partnership with TealBook.
To enhance our supplier inclusion and diversity strategy, this global supplier database specializes in building an inclusive supply chain through supplier identification and collaboration.

TealBook is free for suppliers to register and share their ownership structure, employee mix and supply chain partnerships.

We are educating our suppliers on inclusion and diversity in addition to increasing awareness.
This effort is supported by our Supplier Sustainability Program, our supplier relationship management approach, our work with suppliers to complete their EcoVadis improvement plans and the EcoVadis Academy learning opportunities.

As part of our tendering process and supplier evaluation criteria, our inclusion and diversity strategy incentivizes supplier performance through the addition of standardized inclusion and diversity questions. The strategy also aims to create regional partnerships that support and develop diverse suppliers, so they can compete better in the supply chain.

Our policies support local and Indigenous procurement.
To support local spend, we are developing Local and Indigenous Procurement Policies in our operating regions. These policies provide guidance on what defines a local supplier and includes our acknowledgement and commitment to the Traditional Owners of the land on which our operations are located in accordance with our Indigenous Peoples Policy and Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan.
